– Teaching the core subjects: English (Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing) and Maths. They include fluency practise to secure basic skills.
– We also enjoy the wider curriculum subjects: Science, Computing, French,
History, Geography, Religious Education, PHSE, Art, Design and Technology,
Music and Physical Education throughout the year.

Year 5 Primary Teacher – Requirements

– QTS/SCITT/PGCE

– ECT or Experienced Teacher

– Excellent subject knowledge – up to date with the UK Curriculum and previously taught UK curriculum

– Positive and creative teacher who is a real team player

– A strong background in science, with relevant experience

– UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)– Secondary Science

– Open to both recently qualified and experienced teachers

– Good classroom management skill set

– Good or outstanding lesson observations

– Naturally outgoing and engaging individual

– Passionate about education

– Right to work in the UK

– Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to get one
