The Role – Year 2 SEND Teaching Assistant

• Year 2 SEND Teaching Assistant – full-time position
• Long-term role, until July 2023
• Paid teaching placement £70 – £80 per day (term-time only)
• Work 1:1 and in small group-based intervention sessions
• Support with the Year 2 curriculum
• Opportunity to work with other year groups
• Promote inclusion of pupils with SEN
• Provide regular feedback to Class Teacher
• Motivate and encourage pupils to learn

About You – Year 2 SEND Teaching Assistant

• Year 2 SEND Teaching Assistant
• Minimum 2:2 grade in any subject
• Good A-Levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN would be advantageous
• Confident and positive personality
• Aspirations to become a Teacher would be desirable
• Ability to use own initiative in the classroom
