Unqualified Chemistry Teacher – role information

The role is extremely varied in what you will be doing but this role will require you to have more responsibility as you will be expected to teach lessons in your specialist area. You will, of course, not be thrown into the deep end on day 1 and you will be given all the support and all the training you need to succeed to ensure you and your students make progress. You will learn how to plan and deliver outstanding lessons by shadowing experienced professionals around you who have worked with i-teachers’ graduates plenty of times over the years. There is no better place and are not better individuals to learn from within the education field that those at this particular school. You will also be paid higher than the standard salaries as well due to your responsibilities. This is a January start with a daily salary of £139 – £202 depending on your experience in a similar role.

About you

• You will require a minimum 2:1 in your STEM related degree from an excellent UK university
• Strong A-Levels will be required for this position as your subject knowledge will need to be sound
• Prior experience working with young people in an educational environment
• Dedication and motivation required to become a great teacher
