Trainee Teacher – Aspiring PGCE Students

This Trainee Teacher role is ideal for graduates who want to build a foundation for a successful teaching career.

We are particularly interested in applications from graduates in core subjects (English, Maths, Science), Humanities, Music, Art and Drama, who are passionate about pursuing a career in education.

Key role highlights:

  • Location: Secondary school in Warrington
  • Requirements: Minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant subject
  • Start Date: November
  • Commitment: Full academic year in one school (no daily supply work)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours
  • Salary: Up to £550 per week (term time only)
  • Experience: Ideal pre-PGCE opportunity
  • Role: Deliver pre-planned lessons and support across different subjects
  • Transport: Excellent public transport links
  • Support: Full training and mentoring provided

Person Specification:

  • 2:2 or above in relevant subject, any additional experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong academic background
  • Confident communicator with a resilient mindset
  • Any experience in education or tutoring is a plus
