i-teachers are working with a brilliant alternative provision school based in the Birmingham area who are eager to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally engaging Teaching Assistant to their superb SEN department in a full-time role for the coming academic year.

Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group SEN support for secondary students
  • Following carefully structured education health care plan support
  • Creating and building sustainable rapport with students
  • Paid £450 per week during term time only
  • Monday to Friday role – September 2024 to July 2025
  • Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
  • Multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health

Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Superb organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about educating in your specialist subject
  • *NO UK visa sponsorship available for this role*
