Are you a recent UK based Psychology or Childhood Studies university graduate with a passion for special educational needs and supporting children’s development?

Maybe you’re interested in pursuing a career within educational psychology, however want to gain vital SEN teaching support experience before making a definitive decision?

In this role as a Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS1 classroom with children that have complex special educational needs alongside the class teacher in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Teaching Assistant
• Providing 1:1 & small group support to KS1 children with SEN
• Creating fun and engaging support sessions alongside class teacher
• Being a proactive and dependable member of teaching support department
• Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
• Located in Birkenhead (CH61)
• Monday to Friday role at one school for remainder of academic year
• Paid £475 per week during term time – Online CPD courses included

Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
• Prior experience working with children or adolescents
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about a career working with children
• Warm and outgoing individual
• Eager to gain first-hand school based experience
