An excellent secondary academy based in Peterborough is eager to find a hard-working, dedicated and naturally engaging Teacher of MFL to join their wonderful Languages department in a permanent position beginning September 2023.

The role is based across both the French & Spanish subjects, with a primary focus being placed on the teaching of Spanish for around 70% of the weekly teaching schedule. This position is based across KS3 & KS4, with the option to teach at A-Level should you be comfortable doing so.

The school itself is a fantastic secondary academy with a real impetus placed on providing fantastic learning experiences, where students are able to consistently interact throughout and have access to modern facilities and resources to enhance their learning. They are an academy which focus on developing staff, promoting from within and making sure every teacher feels valued and respected.

Teacher of MFL – Applicant Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary MFL
• Minimum 2:2 languages based degree
• Good prior teaching observations
• Passionate about your specialist subject
• Ability to teach across both French & Spanish

• Ability to keep students engaged and focused
