Student Support Mentor – Wolverhampton  – Secondary School – Full Academic Year – Monday to Friday role – September 2024 to July 2025 – Paid £430 per week during term time

i-teachers are currently working with a brilliant secondary school located in the Wolverhampton area who are eager to add a dedicated, outgoing and supportive Student Support Mentor to their pastoral department for the coming academic year.

In this role as a Student Support Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to provide excellent 1:1 support to students struggling with in Year 11 for the academic year. The role will be an all-round academic, social and emotional support position helping prepare students for their GCSEs across Core Subjects.

Student Support Mentor – Role Information:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to Year 11 students
• Working primarily across Year 11 pastoral department
• Creating tailored academic, social and emotional support sessions
• Monday to Friday role based in one secondary school
• Located in the Wolverhampton area
• Paid £430 per week during term time only
• FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

Student Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Core Subject or Psychology related degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience supporting development of children or adolescents
• Naturally outgoing and personable individual
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about supporting the all-round development of young people
