About the Role – STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant
This STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant role involves working specifically within the school’s supportive Maths department. You will receive dedicated support from an ‘Outstanding’ Maths/Science Teacher who will be there to support you from your very first day. You will be working to develop your abilities with the help of the school’s training and development plan. Each day will be varied and exciting as you will work with a range of students both on a 1:1 basis and within small groups. You will be able to plan and deliver small group interventions, giving you excellent experience ready for when you become a teacher.
Person Specification – STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- STEM Graduate
- Ideally some experience working with children/young people
- Ideally 2:1 or above and strong A Levels
- Ambitious and driven individual
- Patient, emphatic and resilient
- Looking to gain experience in a Maths/Science Department
