Are you a recent UK based Psychology, Childhood Studies or Youth Work graduate with a passion for supporting the development of children and a desire to gain first-hand SEN teaching support experience for the remainder of the academic year?

Maybe you’re looking to pursue a career within Clinical Psychology, however want to first-gain vital Special Needs Teaching Assistant experience alongside experienced professionals?

We are currently supporting a wonderful primary school located in the Kensington area who are eager to bolster their wonderful SEN department with a supportive, outgoing and gregarious Special Needs Teaching Assistant to provide vital 1:1 & small group SEN support to a classroom with a high volume of SEN children alongside the class teacher.

Special Needs Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • Special Needs Teaching Assistant
  • Providing 1:1 & small group SEN support to KS1 classroom
  • Structuring support sessions around Education Health Care Plan
  • Working alongside class teacher during lesson time
  • Monday to Friday role – 08.30am – 16.00pm
  • November 2024 to July 2025 contracted role
  • Paid £450 per week during term time with FREE online CPD courses
  • Starting immediately – interviewing for role ASAP!

Special Needs Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Childhood Studies or Youth Work
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Naturally outgoing and resilient individual
  • Passionate about the development of young people
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
