Would you like the opportunity to support a Year 11 pupil with his academic & emotional development inside and out of the classroom as an SEN Teaching Assistant?

This superb secondary school based in Sleaford is looking to find an supportive, calm and patient recent graduate with a passion for supporting young people with SEN/SEMH needs.

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to help plan and conduct 1:1 support sessions both inside and out of the classroom following a carefully structured Education Health Care Plan for a Year 11 Pupil with complex SEN/SEMH needs.

The role itself is for 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), paying £79 per day until the end of the academic year.

  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Paid £79 per day, term time ONLY
  • Working Hours: 08:30am – 15:30pm
  • Supporting the academic & emotional progression of Y11 pupil
  • Planning and conducting 1:1 support sessions
  • Creating and maintain calm and supportive environment
  • Being vital member of secondary SEN department
  • Long-term role – NO SUPPLY!

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 university degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Experience working with young people
  • Passionate about providing superb learning support
  • Naturally warm and supportive personality
  • Brilliant organisation & communication skills
