Perhaps you want to gain first-hand teaching experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant alongside qualified SEN specialists?

Do you want the opportunity to gain first-hand SEN teaching experience providing superb all-round academic & emotional support as an SEN Teaching Assistant?

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant you will have the opportunity to work inside of a wonderful secondary SEN department, planning and conducting individual & group support sessions for children with special educational needs. Working for the full academic year, you’ll be able to gain first-hand teaching experience whilst learning from qualified and supportive SEN specialists.

SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Located in Leicester
  • Paid £325 – £350 per week, term time only
  • Long-term role – NO SUPPLY!

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology based degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young children
  • Brilliant organisation and communication skills
  • Providing superb academic and emotional support
