Are you a recent UK based Psychology, Youth Work or Childhood Studies based graduate with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?

Do you have an ambition to progress into a career within Educational Psychology, however want to gain first-hand SEN Teaching Assistant experience for the academic year?

i-teachers are currently supporting a warm and welcoming primary academy located in the Ellesmere Port area who are eager to add a dedicated, engaging and dependable SEN Teaching Assistant to their superb learning support department in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored 1:1 & small group SEN support to pupils within a KS1 classroom that have complex learning difficulties.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Providing 1:1 & small group SEN provision to KS1 pupils
  • Tailoring sessions around pupils’ Educational Health Care Plan
  • Monday to Friday role – 08.30am – 15.30pm
  • November 2024 to July 2025 contracted role
  • Paid £450 per week during term time with FREE online CPD courses
  • Starting immediately – interviewing for role ASAP!

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Youth Work or Childhood Studies degree
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Naturally outgoing and resilient individual
  • Passionate about the development of young people
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
