One of our incredible primary schools in Frankley are looking for a caring, compassionate, and dedicated graduate to assist in their SEN department as a SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant. The successful graduate will be providing support to a handful of pupils with Autism from September.

SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) – The Role:
- Work under the schools SENDCo / Inclusion Manager
- Placement within a mainstream school
- Plan, deliver and run intervention sessions as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Tailor and adapt to specific student’s needs
- Supporting pupils with Autism
- Communicate effectively with both staff and parents
- September start
SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) – Benefits:

SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) – Person Specification
- 2:1 or above degree in a core subject or Psychology
- Strong academic background prior to university
- Experience working with children and young people
- Experience working with people with additional needs, specifically autism
- Compassionate and caring
- Passionate about learning & education
