SEN Teaching Assistant – person specification

• -2:2 or above in your degree
• -Previous experience with children, for example tutoring
• -Strong academic background
• -Genuine interest in pursuing a career in education/teaching
• -Friendly, hard-working and reliable

SEN Teaching Assistant

• -CPD offered with i-teachers and the school – fantastic for your CV and development
• -Ensuring progress is being made in the classroom and outside
• -Support students with Social and emotional needs, in addition to SEN
• -Assisting in creating lesson plans and classroom management strategies
• -Plan and deliver your own 1:1 booster/intervention sessions
• -Paid in term time only, daily rate of £70 – £75 per day
• -Work 5 days per week
• -Long term position in one school
