SEN Teaching Assistant – Enfield

 

One of the incredible schools we work with are looking for a caring, compassionate, and dedicated graduate to assist in their SEN department for this academic year as a SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant. Interviews taking place now for an immediate start date.

All of our roles are on a long term basis and we do not do any supply work. If you are successful in your SEN Teaching Assistant application, you will be placed within one school for the remainder of the academic year – with a possibility to stay on next year as well!

 

SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:

  • Work under the schools SENDCo / Inclusion Manager
  • Placement within a mainstream school – typically low-level needs
  • Plan, deliver and run intervention sessions as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Tailor and adapt to specific student’s needs
  • Support students who have behavioural challenges or special educational needs
  • Communicate effectively with both staff and parents
  • Immediate start date

 

SEN Teaching Assistant – Benefits:

SEN Teaching Assistant – Person Specification

  • 1st or 2:1 degree in a core subject or Psychology
  • Strong academic background e.g. A Levels
  • Compassionate and caring
  • Passionate about learning & education
  • Thinking of becoming a teacher or Ed Psych in the future
  • SEN experience is desirable
