SEN Teaching Assistant   – Role:

• Work in a team supporting the schools SENDCo
• Support the SEN department and subject teachers
• Plan, deliver and run 1:1 & group intervention sessions
• Differentiate according to individual student needs
• Support students who have challenging behaviour
• Communicate excellently with members of staff

SEN Teaching Assistant   – Person Specification:

• 1^st or 2:1 degree in a core subject or Psychology
• Strong academics e.g. A Levels
• Passionate about education & learning
• Considering a career in education
• SEN experience is vital
