This thriving Secondary School in Leicestershire are in the process of seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant high in both energy and empathy, keen to make a positive impact to the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged students, to join their dedicated inclusion team as soon as possible.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Benefits:

• £450 – £550 per week, during term time
• Full-time, long-term role within a single provision (no ad-hoc supply work)
• Ideal for an aspiring Education Psychologist, SEN Teacher, Child Therapist, or Speech and Language practitioner
• Opportunity of transition to permanent role possible

• Guided by an experienced inclusion team and innovative SENCO
• Termly visits from a Head Psychologist
• Coached through both application and interview process by a dedicated consultant

SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:

• Secondary provision located in Leicestershire
• A multifaceted role encompassing a wide range of responsibilities, from assisting with academic assignments to providing emotional support and fostering social interaction
• To work closely with an inspirational inclusion unit and collaborate with teachers to ensure essential emotional and academic progress
• To tailor your support to the idiosyncratic requirements of every student amongst the provision’s diverse cohort
• Sociable hours of 0830 – 1530 weekdays (no weekends)
• Coveted SEN Teaching Assistant role
• Interviewing immediately

SEN Teaching Assistant – Pre-Requisites:

• High-calibre Degree from an elite British University (ideally Psychology-related)
• Empathetic disposition and collaborative attitude
• Experience with children or vulnerable adults advantageous
• Passion in education and in the emotional progression of young people in crucial stages of development
