SEN Learning Mentor – Manchester based primary school

Are you a graduate who is considering a career in Teaching or Educational Psychology?

Are you keen to join a primary school for the rest of the academic year supporting children with Autism to gain vital experience?

This SEN Learning Mentor role is ideal for a graduate who is keen to build upon their SEN experience within a school-based setting, whilst being paid and supported by the school for the rest of the academic year!

SEN Learning Mentor – Graduate role

  • SEN Learning Mentor- Full time role
  • 1:1 Support for a child with Autism
  • Thriving and inclusive primary school in Manchester (M8)
  • Graduate role – ideal for a Psychology graduate
  • Fantastic experience for future Educational Psychologists/Teachers
  • Paid £65- £75 per day
  • Long term, full-time role (term time only) starting as soon as possible

Requirements – SEN Learning Mentor

  • SEN Learning Mentor
  • Degree 2:1 or above (Core Subject or Psychology degrees preferred)
  • Some previous experience of working with children
  • Knowledge of SEN/Developmental Disorders

About the role – SEN Learning Mentor

  • Supporting this child with special educational needs
  • Fully trained by the experienced SENCo.
  • You will support other children in class with daily learning activities, fully supporting the class teacher.
  • Close to public transport links from central Manchester.
