The Role – SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant

• SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant – long-term role
• Full-time, Monday – Friday
• September or ASAP start dates available
• Paid teaching placement £82 – £95 per day (term-time only)
• Work within the school’s SEN department
• Support students with SEN
• Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and SEN department
• Adapt to different learning abilities and needs
• Be involved in trips and educational visits

Qualifications and Experience – SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant

• SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant – perfect for an aspiring teacher
• Minimum 2:1 grade at university
• Good A levels
• Prior experience supporting in a SEN environment or other relevant settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Awareness of safeguarding in schools
• Experience of working with challenging behaviour
