SEN Graduate Learning Mentor– Key Information:

  • SEN Graduate Learning Mentor- full time
  • Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire (LS11)
  • Close transportation links
  • £70 – £90 per day, term time
  • Excellent senior leadership department
  • Full time, Monday – Friday school hours
  • Warm and welcoming environment
  • Supportive inclusion department with talented SENCo

SEN Graduate Learning Mentor– The Role:

  • SEN Graduate Learning Mentor role- Secondary school
  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Deliver 1:1 and group-based interventions
  • Varied and exciting – crucial experience prior to teaching training
  • Monitor pupil’s progress
  • Take on feedback to continually improve your practice

SEN Graduate Learning Mentor– Person Specification:

  • 2:1 or 1st class degree (preferably psychology)
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Previous work with those with SEN is essential for this role
  • Supportive and inspiring personality
  • Patient and empathetic mentality is crucial
  • Passionate about education
