SEN Graduate Learning Mentor– Secondary role

This school is looking for a hardworking and resilient individual, your main role will be to support those with SEMH and behaviour difficulties for pupils aged 11-16 years old.

SEN Graduate Learning Mentor – Key Information:

  • Part of an outstanding trust, based in Leeds
  • Full time, Monday – Friday school hours
  • Work for the rest of the academic year
  • £70- £90 per day (term time only)

  • Work in a high achieving school in Leeds
  • Location Leeds, West Yorkshire (LS11)

SEN Graduate Learning Mentor– The Role:

  • SEN Graduate Learning Mentor role

  • Range of academic abilities from weak to very able

SEN Graduate Learning Mentor– Person Specification:

  • 2:1 or 1stclass degree – Psychology or core subjects desirable
  • Previous experience with SEMH/SEN and/or behaviour required
  • Resilient attitude due to the demanding setting
  • Strong academic background
  • Supportive and inspiring personality
  • Patient and empathetic mentality is crucial
