This Nottingham-based specialist provision, rapidly expanding and increasing in pupil capacity, are seeking an SEMH English Teacher, able to inspire and redirect the energies of young, disaffected students, to join their dedicated and close-knit team as soon as possible.

SEMH English Teacher – The School

SEMH English Teacher – Pre-Requisites

  • Must hold a degree in an English-related subject from a British University
  • Understanding of the GCSE curriculum and mark schemes
  • QTS required
  • Displays patience and fosters a nurturing approach
  • Possesses strong classroom management capabilities

SEMH English Teacher – The Role:

  • Full-time position as an SEMH English Teacher offering a competitive annual salary ranging from £30,000 to £46,252
  • You will assume the role of an SEMH English Teacher, addressing the diverse needs of SEN pupils to facilitate their reintegration into education
  • Foster a collaborative approach
  • Establishing a safe and supportive learning atmosphere, free from stigma or negativity, is of utmost importance
  • Deliver exceptional lessons and offer personalised feedback to both groups and individuals
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the school’s mission and values, promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and academic progress
