Secondary Teaching Assistant – the responsibilities

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Providing support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Facilitating small group activities and discussions
  • Offering guidance and encouragement to students
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Secondary Teaching Assistant – requirements

  • Graduate with a 2:1 or higher (from a top UK university)
  • A passion for education and a desire to support student learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults is desirable but not essential
