Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role

- Long-term role, until July 2023
- Full-time Monday – Friday position
- £350 – £400 per week, term-time only
- Secondary Academy in Small Heath (B10)

- Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support students with SEN
- Providing support to students inside and outside the classroom
- Work 1:1 and in small groups
- Become a part of a friendly and dedicated team
- Encourage the participation of students in the social and academic processes of the school
- Enable students to become more independent learners
Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – Person Specifications
- Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
- Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs
- Prior experience working in an SEN school or environment would be ideal
- Good knowledge and understanding of SEN
- Positive, friendly and adaptable personality
- Desire to improve the lives and education of young people with SEN
