Role: Science Tutor – KS3 & KS4 department

Location: Central Birmingham

Contract length: Monday to Friday role – January 2025 to July 2025

Pay: £95 per day during term time including CPD courses

Are you a recent Science subject based graduate with experience working with children or young people, and have a desire to find a full-time Science Subject Tutor role in the Birmingham area for the remainder of the academic year?

A wonderful SEMH specialist pupil referral unit located in the central Birmingham area is looking to find a knowledgeable, outgoing and inspiring Science Tutor to provide engaging and enthralling 1:1 & small group tuition to their KS3 & KS4 students outside of the classroom environment for the remainder of the academic year in a full-time role.

Science Tutor – Role Information:

• Based in SEMH pupil referral school setting
• Planning and conducting tailored 1:1 Science subject tuition
• Located in central Birmingham area
• Paid £95 per day during term time
• Online CPD courses included: SEN, Safeguarding & Behaviour
• Monday to Friday role with usual school working hours
• January 2025 to July 2025 – interviewing ASAP!

Science Tutor – Role Requirements:

• Minimum 2:2 UK based Science subject degree
• Prior experience working or volunteering with children
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about the development of children
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
