Science Technician

Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for a new and exciting school-based teaching support role for the remainder of the academic year?

Perhaps you’re a recent Science graduate with experience working in laboratories, and a desire to utilise your experience in school based setting?

An excellent Secondary School in Nottingham are looking to find a dedicated, hard-working and naturally engaging Science Technician to help maintain and develop specific lab equipment, assist in implementing GCSE-based science practicals, and be a valued member of the technician department for the coming academic year.

Science Technician – The Role:

  • Science Technician
  • Located in Nottingham
  • Paid £450 – £550 per week during term time
  • Based in a single school for the full academic year
  • Working across KS3 & KS4 Science department
  • Preparing and developing lessons for KS3 & KS4 Science
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Utilising Science knowledge in class environment

Science Technician – Pre-Requisites:

  • Minimum 2:1 Science-based Degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working inside of laboratory
  • Passionate about your subject speciialism
  • Great communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of team
