Role Description – Science Graduate Tutor

• Long-term role until July 2023
• September 2022 start date
• Paid teaching placement £90 – £95 per day (term-time only)
• You will be working in the unique tutoring base at the school
• 1:1 and small group intervention-based settings for secondary students
• Lead in tutoring your subject to high achievers and students struggling with the curriculum
• Be a part of a highly supportive and cohesive team of Tutors
• Help students prepare for GCSE examinations

Experience and Qualifications – Science Graduate Tutor

• Minimum 2:1 grade in science related subject
• Excellent academic background
• Prior experience tutoring or mentoring would be advantageous
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for helping students reach their academic goals
• Aspirations to become a Science Teacher would be beneficial
