Graduate Teaching Assistant – Information about the role:

• -Supportive and inclusive secondary school in Oldham
• -Long term position, starting ASAP
• -Paid up to £450 per week, term time only
• -Monday – Friday role, school hours
• -Opportunity to gain vital PGCE experience
• -Work in the classroom to support teachers
• -Run your own 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
• -Cover science lessons
• -Ability to transfer and develop teaching skills alongside experienced teachers
• -Utilise schools excellent CPD programme

Person Specification:

• -Degree 2:2 or above
• -Strong academic background
• -Excellent degree subject knowledge
• -Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential
