Science Graduate Learning Mentor – The role

• Science Graduate Learning Mentor- Full time
• Based in a welcoming school in Manchester (M24)
• Supporting bright, young scientists as a Science Graduate Learning Mentor
• Holding 1:1 and small intervention and ‘booster’ study sessions
• Working with highly academic and passionate teaching staff
• Expanding your skill set while gaining classroom confidence
• Long term roles as a Science Graduate Learning Mentor
• Paid role (Monday to Friday during term time)
• Covering Science lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
• Science Graduate Learning Mentor- September 2022 start

Science Graduate Learning Mentor – What do I need?

• Science Graduate Learning Mentor- Graduate role
• An enthusiastic and determined personality with a lot of passion for education!
• 1^stor 2:1 degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a related subject discipline
• Strong academic background
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience working with young people is essential
• High level of knowledge of science- Science Graduate Learning Mentor
