If so, this long-term full-time Science Graduate Learning Mentor position in a lovely secondary school could be an exciting opportunity for you!

 

Science Graduate Learning Mentor – The Role:

  • Science Graduate Learning Mentor
  • Working within the Science department with different classes
  • Supporting students’ learning on a 1:1 and group basis
  • Assisting Science teachers with lesson delivery
  • Planning and delivering Science intervention sessions
  • Helping students with exam preparation

Science Graduate Learning Mentor – The Benefits:

  • Paid £300 – £350 per week, term time only
  • Full-time role for the rest of the academic year
  • Ideal experience for aspiring Science teachers
  • Receive support and guidance from us, as well as the from the school
  • February 2022 start
  • Close to good transport links

Science Graduate Learning Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Ideally a 2:1 or above Science related degree
  • Good A Levels and GCSEs
  • Experience tutoring or working with young people would be highly beneficial
  • Passionate about Science and education
  • Desire to encourage others to take an interest in Science
