Psychology SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant – Key Information:                                   

• Psychology SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant role
• Located in Leeds, West Yorkshire (LS9)
• £70 – £90 per day, term time only
• Monday – Friday school hours, full time
• Fantastic support department
• Visible and supportive SLT
• Easily accessible via public transport links and a large car park for those who drive

Psychology SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant – The Role:

• Work with pupils who need additional support
• Deliver 1:1 interventions for pupils
• Support the class teacher with the preparation of lessons
• Support those with SEN/additional needs if required
• Promote positive behaviour and mental health
• Monitor pupil’s progress

Psychology SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant – Person Specification:

• 1^st class or 2:1 degree (psychology/core subjects preferred)
• Strong academic background – e.g. A levels and GCSEs
• Previous experience working with young people
• Experience with SEN – desirable
• Positive and uplifting personality
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
