Located in a two-form entry primary school close in the Barnet area of North London and well-connected to local public transport links, this school is easily accessible by a number of bus and train routes. The ideal candidate should be confident and considerate and have drive and passion to support SEN learners!

Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – About the role

You will be given training and support to have the right tools to support the pupils who have autism and sometimes struggles to focus within lessons. At times your role in school will include taking the child to the fantastic sensory room which is within this school in order to allow the child to remain calm and happy. For this area you will be given support and training by the school’s lovely SENCO.

Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

If you are an aspiring psychologist or teacher this role will provide you with excellent and varied experience. You will be in the same school for the academic year, allowing you to build good rapport with staff and students as well as allowing the pupils to see a consistent role model throughout the year.
