We are looking for a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with SEN experience to develop their experience and skills whilst working in a team of friendly and dedicated staff, and making a difference to the life and education of young people with SEN.

Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:

• Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
• Long-term, full-time support role
• Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire
• Working in one school for the entire academic year, no day-to-day supply
• £300 – £350 term time weekly pay
• Supporting SEN students inside and outside the classroom
• Work with students on a 1:1 & group basis
• Immediate start
• Access to CPD courses
• Support from your placement school and from i-teachers
• Fantastic steppingstone for a career in teaching or educational psychology
• Opportunities to remain in schools and progress

Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Person Specification:

• Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
• Minimum 2:2 degree in a psychology related subject
• Strong academic background e.g. A Levels and GCSEs
• Prior experience supporting people with SEN
• Desire to make a difference to the life and education of young people with SEN
• Supportive & patient attitude
