Are you a recent UK based university graduate with a passion for supporting the development of children, and have a desire to gain first-hand primary based teaching support experience for the remainder of the academic year?

i-teachers are currently supporting a wonderful primary school located in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area who are eager to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally engaging Primary Teaching Mentor to their excellent teaching support team for the remainder of the academic year.

In this role as a Primary Teaching Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group support to children in a KS2 department with complex learning difficulties inside of a classroom setting alongside the class teacher.

Primary Teaching Mentor – Role Information:

  • Primary Teaching Mentor
  • Providing 1:1 & small group SEN support to KS1 pupils
  • Following carefully structured Education Health Care Plans
  • Monday to Friday role – 08.30am – 15.30pm
  • November 2024 to July 2025 contracted role
  • Paid £475 per week during term time with FREE online CPD courses
  • Starting immediately – interviewing for role ASAP!

Primary Teaching Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based degree
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Naturally outgoing and resilient individual
  • Passionate about the development of young people
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
