A superb primary school based in Derby is looking to find a warm, supportive and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant the rest of the academic year in a full-time, Monday to Friday role. In this position as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work across both the KS1 & KS2 departments aiding the class teacher through planning and conducting 1:1 & group support sessions!

The school itself is located just outside of Derby city centre, with excellent public transport links nearby. The school is highly regarded within the local community, due to its superb facilities and resources as well as it’s focus on making sure every pupil is provided with exceptional learning experiences.

Primary Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Primary Teaching Assistant
• Working across KS1 & KS2 department
• Providing 1:1 & group support to pupils
• Aiding class teacher with lesson planning
• Monday to Friday role – Ending July 2023
• Hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
• Paid £76 per day during term time

Primary Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK University based degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally supportive and outgoing personality
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about a career within education
• Eager to gain first-hand teaching experience
