This primary teaching assistant role is within a year 1 class of about 30 students. You will be responsible for support during lesson time, helping the teacher prepare and delivering small sessions with groups of students who may require additional support. The schools itself is located close to transport links so it is commutable for most.

Primary Teaching Assistant – Person Specification

• Minimum of a 2.1 will be required in your degree
• Strong academic background
• Experience working with young people before would be ideal but not required
• Positive and hard-working Primary Teaching Assistant attitude

• Supporting the excellent Teachers to aid lessons
• Primary Teaching Assistant paid £425 – £475
• Work as a Primary Teaching Assistant
• Work across KS1 or in one year group
• Primary Teaching Assistant role can be moulded to the correct candidate
• Learn how to plan and support lesson delivery effectively
• Devise good classroom resources for the Teachers
• Be an ambassador for the school and for education
