i-teachers are currently working with a fantastic primary school located in the Walsall area who are eager to find a warm, welcoming a supportive Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 & small group support to pupils with complex learning difficulties in a full-time role for the coming academic year.

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 & small group tuition to primary pupils with SEN
  • Creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences
  • Being dependable member of SEN department
  • Located in Walsall area
  • Monday to Friday position – 08.30am to 15.30pm working hours
  • Paid £86 per day during term-time only before tax
  • Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Sociology or Neuroscience subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents
  • Passionate about a career working within educational psychology
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to build and develop rapport with students
