Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Role:
- Support the SEN department & its SENDCo
- Working on a 1:1 basis with students who have additional needs
- Differentiate according to individual student needs
- Work closely with the student’s class teacher
- Communicate excellently with various stakeholders
Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Person Specification:
- 1st or 2:1 degree
- Strong academic background e.g. A Levels
- Passionate about education
- Consider a career in teaching or a psychologist
- SEN experience is desired
- Working with children experience is vital
