Are you a recent UK based university graduate with experience working with children looking to find a full-time role supporting children with special educational needs?
We are currently working with a wonderful primary school located In the Birmingham area who are keen to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally engaging SEN TA to their wonderful learning support department in a full-time role for the academic year.
In this role as a Learning Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored 1:1 & small group support to children with complex learning difficulties following a structured Education Health Care Plan.

Primary SEN Mentor – Role Information:
- Primary SEN Mentor
- Providing 1:1 & small group SEN support to children in EYFS department
- Focusing support sessions around carefully structured EHCP
- Working both as an individual and as part of a team
- Located in Birmingham (B9 area)
- Monday to Friday role – September 2024 to July 2025
- Paid £440 per week during term time
- Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

Primary SEN Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:2 UK based university degree
- Prior experience working with young children
- Naturally outgoing and inspiring individual
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to support children with SEN needs
- *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
