Are you a recent UK based university graduate with experience supporting children, and have a desire to find a full-time Primary Learning Mentor role in Birmingham?

i-teachers are working with a superb primary school located in Birmingham who are eager to add a hard-working, outgoing and naturally engaging Primary Learning Mentor to their SEN department to provide 1:1 support to a child in their KS2 department with autism.

In this role, the successful candidate will need to provide tailored 1:1 EHCP support to a child in Year 5 with complex learning difficulties in a full-time role for the academic year.

Primary Learning Mentor – Role Information:

  • Primary Learning Mentor
  • Planning and conducting 1:1 EHCP support for child with SEN
  • Creating sessions tailored around Education Health Care Plan
  • Paid £440 per week during term time only
  • Multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
  • Monday to Friday role – September 2024 to July 2025

Primary Learning Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 UK based university degree
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Ability to build relationships with young people
