Part-time MFL Teacher – Spanish

We are seeking to recruit an outstanding teacher of Languages to contribute to a thriving and highly experienced languages team from January 2023.

The successful applicants would be expected to teach a range of classes, including Key Stage 3 and 4, as well as potential Key Stage 5 lessons, where applicable.  Much time is committed to developing a wide range of teaching and learning strategies to be implemented within the subject, with a focus on a collaborative approach to planning with centralised, shared units of work and resources.

Part-time MFL Teacher – The role:

• Spanish Teacher
• Long-term working part-time 3 days a week
• £28,000 – £38,810 full-time equivalent
• Carry out the responsibilities as a subject teacher and form tutor, supporting the ethos and vision of the Academy
• Maximise the achievement of students they teach
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
• January 2023 start

Part-time MFL Teacher – Person specification:

• QTS
• Minimum 2:2 degree
• Strong academic background e.g. A Levels
• Right to work in the UK
• Good teaching observations
• Strong behaviour management
• Passion for French & MFL

Part-time MFL Teacher – Secondary school & sixth form:

• Large mixed secondary school for children aged 11-19
• Located in North Solihull/Birmingham
• Mission is ‘To provide a world class education which develops the infinite potential of all students, no matter what their starting point’
• All staff are provided with on-going comprehensive CPD programme whether they are NQT, RQT or aspiring leaders
• Leaders are supportive, approachable and keen to ensure that staff are happy
