Maths Academic Mentor – Stockport – Secondary School – January Start

Do you have a Maths (or related) degree and are keen to make the most of your expert subject knowledge in a rewarding role?

Would you be keen to join a Secondary School in Stockport as a Maths academic mentor working with pupils to understand difficult concepts?

This Maths Academic Mentor role will allow you to utilise your theoretical knowledge and try teaching before you commit to a PGCE.

Maths Graduate Academic Mentor – The Role

• Maths Academic Mentor
• Work with KS3 and KS4
• Support pupils on a 1:1/Small group basis
• Paid £450 per week
• Work Mon-Fri for the remainder of the academic year
• January start – interviews now

Maths Graduate Academic Mentor – The School

• High achieving Secondary School in Stockport
• Excellent location – easily accessible by public transport/car
• Start of the Art Facilities

Maths Graduate Academic Mentor – The Applicant

• Maths Degree 2:2 or above
• Strong Academic background – Good A-Level and GCSE results
• Some previous experience of working with children ideal
• A strong desire to work in education
