We are currently looking to build our bank of long-term supply teachers in London. Shortlisting taking place now – interviews from early September.

The schools are continually evolving their curriculum and are interested in hearing from teachers with specialisms beyond the core subjects. Professional development is a strong focus at our schools and the successful applicant would also benefit from i-teachers’ free online CPD courses.

The role – Long-Term Supply Teacher

• Long-Term Supply Teacher
• Assess learning objectives have been achieved
• Ability to evaluate pupil performance in line with the National Curriculum standards
  Be responsible for an aspect of the curriculum – History or Geography desired
• Provide regular written and verbal feedback
• Maintain a creative learning environment for all pupils
• Establish a strong working relationship with colleagues
• Identify pupils who may have particular learning needs and put appropriate plans in place
• Set clear learning targets
• Responsibility to monitor safeguarding

Long-Term Supply Teacher – person specification

• UK Qualified teacher status
• Experience of working in a UK primary school desirable
• Strong knowledge of the National Primary Curriculum
• Passion for child development
• Ability to manage your own workload
• Desire to incorporate cross-curricular skills
• Knowledge of a community language would be beneficial due to the diverse school community
