Level 2 Teaching Assistant – The Role

  • Full-time long-term role
  • Paid £450-£500/week – term time only
  • January 2023 Start
  • Make a real impact on the outcomes of our pupils
  • Work alongside teaching staff to support pupils learning
  • Deliver action plans to close gaps in learning, particularly in reading
  • Support individuals and small groups of pupils most affected by the instabilities of the last two years
  • Help pupils to make accelerated progress and reach their potential

Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Person Specifications

  • Graduate in any degree subject
  • Have experience working with young people or adults in a paid or voluntary capacity
  • Be able to lead extra-curricular activities
  • Have a strong academic background in English and Mathematics (at least a C grade at GCSE or equivalent)
  • Have the desire and enthusiasm to help deliver outstanding teaching
  • Wish to progress onto our Teacher Training programme
