Are you a recent Psychology, Sociology or Education Studies university graduate with a desire to find a full-time Learning Support Mentor role inside of a wonderful school this year?

Perhaps you’re looking to pursue a career within clinical psychology, however want to find a full-time position where you can plan and conduct 1:1 SEN specific support?

I-teachers are currently working with a superb secondary school located in the Wolverhampton area who are eager to add a hard-working, dedicated and outgoing Learning Support Mentor to their wonderful SEN department in a full-time role for the coming academic year.

Learning Support Mentor – Role Information:

  • Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group SEN support
  • Supporting students with Autism, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia
  • Following carefully structured Education Health Care Plan
  • Paid £440 per week during term time
  • Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Behaviour
  • Monday to Friday role – September 2024 to July 2025
  • Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm

Learning Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Sociology or Education based degree
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about a career within Psychology

Learning Support Mentor – The School:

  • OFSTED graded ‘Good’ secondary school
  • Located in WV4 area
  • Experienced and supportive SEN department
  • Modern facilities and resources for staff and students
  • Passionate about the development of all pupils
  • Close relationship with local community
