Learning Support Assistant – Role information

At i-teachers we are currently working with an small Primary School located in Frodsham.

• January 2025 to July 2025 – interviewing ASAP!
• Monday to Friday 8:45am – 12:15pm
• The role will mainly be supporting the Reception children who have special educational needs.
• A well-established, inclusive primary school with a strong focus on individualised learning
• Supportive and collaborative teaching environment
• Nearby transport links
• Online CPD courses included: SEN, Safeguarding & Behaviour

Role/ Key responsibilities

• Commitment to safeguarding protocols
• Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs
• Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
• Monitor and record progress and provide feedback to teachers, SENCOs and parents
• Work closely with class teachers to implement individual education plans and adapt lessons to meet student needs

Essential requirements

• SEND experience
• Previous work experience in a school
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with a range of learning difficulties
• Previous work experience in a school
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to get one
