A superb secondary school for students with Autism is looking to appoint a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with the dedicated teachers and participate in the education of young people, including contributing to their health and well-being.
Learning Support Assistant- The Role
- Learning Support Assistant
- £300 to £350 per week term time only
- Full-time long-term role – from November until the end of the academic year
- Gain invaluable school-based experience supporting students with Autism/SLD and complex Autism

Learning Support Assistant- The Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with Autism/SLD and complex Autism
- Assist in the planning , evaluation and delivery of learning activities
- Lead literacy and numeracy activities in the classroom
- Contribute to the management of pupil behaviour
- Responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
Learning Support Assistant- Person Specification
- A minimum of 2:1 degree
- Previous experience supporting people with Autism
- Desire to make a difference to the life and education of young people with SEN
- Enthusiastic, dynamic and compassionate personality
- Passionate about education
