About the college:

• Location: Swindon – Wiltshire
• Salary: £27,915 – £31,792 per annum
• Full time, Monday – Friday College hours 8-5
• Aged 16-19 mixed college

ICT technician – the role:

• 1-year temporary contract
• September 2024 – June 2025
• Provide technical support for staff and students.
• Take lead on ICT repairs
• Install new software
• Conduct ICT Inductions for any new members of staff to your assigned site
• Assist with initial testing phases for any hardware or software deployments
• Manage and maintain printer and copier fleet across managed sites
• Manage server backups on a weekly basis and resolve any issues, escalate where appropriate
• Help manage and maintain the asset database and software inventory.

Candidate specification – what the college are looking for:

• 2:1 or 1st class degree, in a relevant course
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Relevant experience is preferred
• Strong academic background
• Possess good IT and administrative skills
• Experience with filtering and monitoring solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune environment.
• Experienced with Microsoft Server 2019, Active Directory.
• Adaptable and works well under pressure
• Committed to providing exceptional IT support and enhancing the educational experience
