Our tailored ‘Step Into Teaching’ programme will ensure you receive support, training and guidance throughout your History Academic Mentor role for the rest of the academic year!

• History Academic Mentor- Full time role
• The rest of the academic year in one school
• Paid £65 – £75 a day, term time only
• Mon – Fri school hours

• Help with lesson planning & delivery
• Work with pupils 1:1 & in small groups

History Academic Mentor – Personal Specification

• Degree in History 2:1 or above
• Strong A levels & GCSEs
• Enthusiasm and passion for education & young people
• Genuine interest in teaching as a career
• Ready for a challenge!
• Some previous experience of working/volunteering with young people is desirable but not essential
